Keywords In Your Website

If you are to build a website, you'll certainly need to market your website.

There are a million things to do and ways to market your website.  Among those are utilizing your keywords to help you gain search engine traffic.

Today, it seems the single most powerful thing you can do is to put your keywords in your page title.  You'll also need to put your keywords, with some regularity, inside the body of your page copy.

What about meta description and keywords?

Those are important, but it seems less so as time moves along.  You should cease loading up your meta keywords and descriptions with massive numbers of keywords - or what is often called keyword spam - as they don't have an impact any longer.

Use one or two keyword phrases in your title, descriptioni and keyword tags on your pages and you'll be doing yourself the best service.

How do you know what keywords to use?

Give Good Keywords a try.  It's free and a dynamite little tool to help you decide which keywords you should use to help build a website!
