You may want to try out PubSub.
The really cool thing about PubSub is it tracks information in near real-time. I say "near" real time because there is some type of delay, unless the news occured on PubSub itself, which it usually doesn't.
How can you use this great free tool? You can run checks on flights, competitors, press releases, search engine results, SEC filings, blogs, news groups, weather, traffic, flight or traffic delays or more.
If you are really into keeping an eye on things that are key to you, that is the tool to use!
