Let's Share The Anti-Spyware Love!

Give me some love baby! It's about time the big players do something significant to help us poor little computer geeks! Finally....
Today Microsoft announced their
anti-spyware program. It's free - for now!
I've downloaded it, but won't test it until tomorrow. I'll give you a report then.
Meanwhile, it's funny how once the big frog in the pond jumps in, all the others get sprayed with some water.
So everyone (us end users) is fighting spyware, viruses, and certainly there is press coverage. But none like today.
Now we find out that McAfee also has a free anti-spyware program named
Stinger. How long has this been out there?
Maybe I don't pay too much attention to these matters, as I haven't had any spyware troubles. My PC is locked down with a physical firewall, Zone Alarm and Symantec corporate edition Norton Anti-Virus. But, none the less, it seems that there's a ton of free anti-spyware tools available today!
Anyway, give them a try. I have tried a few before, just for the heck of it. The experts say no one program can catch them all, so give both the above programs a free spin!
