Hi Tech Website Tracking

Continuing on my running theme of tracking news, mentions or blogs about your website, here's another nifty one....
You're probably familiar with eBay. Who isn't.
Do you use eBay?
Frankly, I've never used it before last year. Well, that's not completely true.
I had used it, but only for gathering relative pricing for used goods I was looking to sell or buy in my local market through classified ads or
craigslist, which eBay coincedentally invested in 2004.
But I had never bought or sold anything on eBay until last October.
My wife and I were cleaning out our office of unneeded things. Most things were only good enough to donate to local charities at best. However, I came across a restaurant training package that I paid $1,595 for a few years back (when my wife and I bought a coffee shop).
I thought of eBay right away. Ended up selling that package of tapes, CD's and printed books for almost $500. I was an instant believer.
Anyway, if you are an eBay'er, you'll love
this tool set if you didn't know about it before.
The site allows you to select some keyword terms, enter them into the website there, and create an RSS tracking service for free. This will enable you to find and monitor eBay items through your RSS reader. This concept is not new. A friend of mine has created a similar script to track certain keywords from prweb.com.
And Dave, you might enjoy that! For our readers, Dave is an avid eBay'er!
Go for it!
