Trojan Horse Warning for pMachine Free v2.3

If you or anyone you know is a user of pMachine Free v2.3, please alert them to this.
A friend of mine has been using that software, which is at least one year old.
Today his website was hit with a trojan horse virus that caused some major problems on the entire server.
Apparently this trojan is known as Sukkit Rootkit, which I could not find anything on the web about it. I won't bore you with the particular issues it caused, but they were significant.
Their server was using Apache Web Server. If you know of anyone using that version of pmachine, tell them to ensure their host has the most current version of mod_security (apache module), which blocks accesses to system programs through apache.
